Red River Roasters is a group of dedicated coffee fanatics who "home roast" our own "green coffee beans" for the freshest and best tasting coffee on the planet. Good coffee is not about how expensive it is, but rather it's about the attention and care given in the roasting and brewing processes. Some homeroasters roast in a "hot air popcorn poper". Others use modified bar-b-que grills. And still others use woks with heatguns to aggitate the beans during the roasting process. Whatever your method of roasting, we want to hear about it!

This is a group for people interested in collecting old tins. I started collecting tins back in the late 1960's. I became interested when I purchased a can from a dealer in Canton Texas at the monthly flea market. The can was very unique and had some great colors and markings - the can was in excellent shape. I began to start collecting additional cans after this and started reviewing histories, etc. I have a collection of probably somewhere around 400-500 tins.

This group is for anyone interested in discussing the condition of New Orleans, the progress of rebuilding post-Katrina, ideas for facilitating that process, news and resources, or just reminiscing and sharing feelings about the city.
