How does losin 341 NYC firefighters, 23 NYC police officers, 37 Port Authority police officers, 2 paramedics, and over 2600 citizens on his watch make Guliani "America's Mayor"? He did nothin but lose people! He's every bit as incompetent as Nagin.

Now Al, how can you say Rudy lost people in the 9/11 disaster? Surely you are meaning something different there. He was in no way responsible for that? What made him America's mayor was the way he handle the aftermath. He handled it with compassion, dignity, and organization something that was clearly lacking with Blanco?

Governor Blanco Exclusive Interview

God Bless Nancy Pelosi :eek: I did listen to the entire podcast and tried my best to find something I liked. I am sure she is a great mom, wife and grandmother. She still blames the Feds for the problems in LA politics. She is emphatic that she is taking this personal. This is not personal it is business that has to be done and the personal feelings need to be left at home. I think she still is trying to blame President Bush. She is the education Governor and the education she gave LA will never be forgotten.

I wonder who said he did anything "above and beyond the call of duty"? I thought he simply did his job- which is the point, since Blanco and Nagin did not. Should Rudy have told them not to go into the building "on his watch"? I dont see incompetence there.....Tell us, What would RonPaul have done better?:rotflol::rotflmao:

If Ron Paul had his way... as he says when speaking of the second amendment or too much federal regulation.. he would allow the Airlines to be accountable for their own protection, much like an armored car is.. armored car drivers are ARMED.. Ron Paul thinks pilots or Air Line security should be allowed to be armed on Planes.. if that had been the case, not one of those planes would have likely reached their intended targets.

No one, not even RonPaul, was talking(or doing) anything about pilots carrying guns on planes before 911. Its easy, of course, to say what YOU would have done better, after the fact. However conveniant that is for RonPaul's "talking points", its really just a Monday morning quarterback view. Just like the tragedy at Virginia Tech, If there had been regular citizens like me, ARMED, Things would have been much different. Example: If someone started shooting in LSU, they would be stopped by an armed citizen, because it is legal to carry a concealed weapon if you have a permit.

Of course Ron Paul didn't mention the 9-11 scenario until after 9-11 occurred. But this has been his view point on government intervention where it doesn't belong for a long, long time.. His views on Virginia Tech are exactly as yours stated above as well.

TGIF everyone !
