Good for them, I believe in planting things that you can get something off of to eat. Flowers are pretty, food is good.

I'm with you piemaker. I think some garden plants are pretty. Peppers for example. I once had a tomato plant in my front yard. But I wouldn't recommend ripping up and replacing the landscape with only veggies, it is better to incorporate them into the landscape and keep things looking nice and neighbors won't complain. Giving neighbors a few prize tomatos helps improve relations also! :D
