Snipes, 44, also failed to file tax returns for six years, according to an indictment unsealed in Tampa, Florida.

An arrest warrant for the actor has been issued, officials said, adding that his whereabouts are unknown.

If true this is amazing to me, considering the statute of limitations for income taxes is 5 years, right? If it was you are me, we would have been audited by now, even if our name was not famous.

always amazes me, when someone who's obviously as 'rich' as Wesley Snipes probably was.. how they manage to get into SUCH TROUBLE! Makes me wonder either what drove them to it.. or could be something like he's got so much money, didn't pay attention and some accountant screwed him up ?

Be interesting to see how it all pans out.. Funny how they don't know where he is currently :)
