I do agree with you Al that I would not keep frequenting an establishment that could not get my order correct. The problem I have with most fast food restaurants and their responsibility in getting my food order correct is that I have food allergies. If I ingest eggs or anything containing eggs, I stand a strong likelihood of having an anaphylactic reaction which is life threatening for me. So I feel strongly that they have a HUGE responsibility in getting that order correct when it is placed.

rhertz 08-29-2007 07:42 PM

This morning, I ordered my usual. A #5 and a coke. A small coke that is. Simple enough. A #5 is a sausage bisquit meal. This time (one out of a hundred) it came with cheese on it! Huh? At first I was a little pissed. For one thing, they don't even make a sausage bisquit with cheese that I know of. But then I figured that 1 out of a 100 ain't too bad statistically speaking. I shouldn't complain about my relative good luck. Plus I don't want to get banned for complaining too much... :D

Agreed, T-Belle. Ya might just have the makins of a good law suit there if it ever happens...provided ya survive the allergic reaction! They should probably put a disclaimer on the packaging so as to minimize their liability.

My wife is severely allergic to poultry, extending even to fowl, yet she can eat eggs and dairy. Most peculiar!

Just seems like, after they botched your order the first five times you'd just boycot that particular location yourself without them havin to ban ya from the place. Ya understand where I'm comin from here, right? I agree that you should get what ya ordered, the way ya ordered it, but damn, lady, the workers at that location have made it crystal clear that they cant ( or wont ) accomodate ya, so why keep goin back for more of the same? Yet thats exactly what you did, and they obviously got fed up with it and just figured if they lost your business then it would be worth it not to have to hear you kvetch about it anymore! Were ya tryin to prove a point? Maybe that "the customer is always right" or some such? Well, a given business will obviously only go so far to accomodate ya and after that, to hell with ya. And your recourse, the way you can most effectively show your displeasure with their service, is to stop giving them your business. Its that simple.

Well for one they did not know me by name, when you call with a complaint you have to give your name. The reason we went to this location is because it is by our house. And why are you saying I'm a nuisance because I feel like they should done their job right. No I know the customer is not always right because I have worked in restaurants for over a period of 35 years. No it's not that simple, there is other things you can do. Why is it I have to be treated like I'm the one that done something wrong? That is what your saying that I was in the wrong. My point is they mess my orders up and other people why keep the workers that obviously can't do the job. They need to take responsiblity for their actions too.

LOL, ok, well then you could probably get away with eatin there still, since theres a pretty good employee turn-over I'm sure. And you're right, its not your fault that the simpletons at your local McDonald's cant follow directions. I'm just sayin "fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me"! Thats all.

I heard that some cell phone service providers are canceling accounts that complain too much. This is just one news story of many.....

You know the day we last went in there, the manager was trying to get the cooks to fix our order right. He was actually yelling at them he give him a bun with 2 pieces of meat and no cheese. He yelled at them several times and even went back to the kitchen and they acted like they still did not understand him. You know they might need to hire a rocket scientist to fix the burgers. Where I live there are 3 McDonald's all owned by the same people.

LOL, Al's right! Pie you should wait about a week or two for a whole new crew to turn-over and sneek in and grab a burger. Stick it to da man! :D

The McDonald's on Airline Drive has sunk to a new low in stupid. I went in there earlier this evening to order 2 double cheeseburgers with cheese and pickles only. These guys actually had the audacity to ask me if I wanted meat on those burgers! How dumb is that?! Like I'd order DOUBLE cheeseburgers if I didn't want meat!

On top of that, they got one of the burgers wrong and I had to send it back. Think, McDonald's employees, THINK!

Yeah, I stood at the counter where I could see down the dress table as they remade the burger, plus I checked the burger when I got it back. If I had found anything questionable on it, I would've went back in with a cop.

piemaker720 11-26-2007 06:53 AM

Sorry Anime I would police that McD's for you but since I'm banned from that store there nothing I can do. Did you notice how the manager has a crappy atitude? When you say something to him it's not I'm sorry, let me fix it, come back again. No he says thank you in a bland voice or maybe a bored voice, just really unconcerned. But it thank you to everything. I bet if you told him you peed on his floor he'd say thank you. But for the guy to ask if you wanted meat on the burger now that is a new low. Folks when you order now make sure to tell them to add meat to your burger.:laugh::laugh:

Great, so you were able to tell when they pulled your bun and meat from the "special" stack.

Penny for Penny, I won!... I did not get what I ordered but some other poor fscker paid for an extra patty he did not get and he paid for a slice of tomato to he did not want! Heck, I won!!

My daughter went by McD's to get a egg biscuit. This time she went to Benton road, it cost her a $1.15 where as the one on hwy, 80 charged her $3.10 and they are own by the same people. Go figure!:laugh:

piemaker720 01-02-2008 08:46 AM

You know I been seeing an ad on TV about sauage biscuits being one dollar at McD's but when you go to the ones in Bossier they are $1.60 WHY? Do they not know there is a sale or do they just charge what they want? I went to some out of town McD's and their biscuits were $1.00. I've said it before these in Bossier are crooks.

AnimeSpirit 01-02-2008 09:10 AM

Maybe the workers at the Bossier McD's don't watch television. :p

5 words: At participating restaurants only.....

wait, that's 4 words... yeah I know that. It's just that there were so many sylables in there...I got confused. Which is lucky that I don't work at Micky D's.... :D

It don't say that on the commercial. Maybe I should call corperate and tell them they should change their ads.

Al Swearengen 01-02-2008 08:15 PM

Pie, for someone who has suffered such mistreatment at McDonalds ya sure do give em plenty of business. There are other fastfood places, ya know. I got fed up with the incompetence of McDonalds long ago and have not been there since. They aint the only game in town. Sonic, for example, has much better food and they're just as inexpensive.

I saw the commercial tonight about a minute after posting... and yes it does.. it said in very small fine print that I could barely read.........

"for a limited time only....at participating restaurants only...and something else that went by too fast".... Sorry Pie, not arguing, but there are over 10,000 locations.. I'm not at all surprised they aren't all on the same page....

I saw it too and the only thing I can say it is Bossier.
