SB Community Renewal to host two special events this Saturday, Nov. 17, in Shreveport.

8:30 a.m. First United Methodist Church

"Run for Higher Ground"

This 5K Run/Walk will benefit the Higher Ground house construction initiative in the Allendale neighborhood. Registration is $15 by Nov. 16 and $20 on the day of the race.



9:30 a.m. Morningstar Baptist Church

Haven House Rally

With a theme of "Neighbors Building Caring Friendships," the rally celebrates the work of Haven House leaders throughout the area. Guest speaker: the Rev. Denny Duron
