My son came home from Baton Rouge today for Thanksgiving. It took him 2 1/2 hours to get from Baton Rouge to I49 on 190. Traffic is going to be H*LL if you are going to the game Friday.

No kidding. I talked to someone who took 3 hours from Oppalousas to BR on 190.

If your going to BR this weekend, I suggest going through Natchez. It 's not much longer and it is very pretty. At least you will be moving and not stuck in traffic.

Game day for LSU is going to be horrible if your not already there.

I think we are going to drive through Natchez.

joepole 11-21-2007 10:51 AM

I'm going to the game Friday and we are planning on driving through Natchez, as well.

Pocahontas 11-21-2007 11:11 AM

Well now the Interstate and other roads through and around Natchez will be jammed due to everyone taking the alternate route! Good luck!

Not nearly as bad as 190 will be. Nobody from Texas is going to go through Natchez, just people from North LA and Arkansas.

I got home while ago from grocery shopping. I spotted the first Arkansas fool headed that way getting gas in Waskom. They had their Arkansas flag flying. I was very tempted to stop and ask them if they wanted me to give them my LSU flag so they'd have the right colors and wouldn't have to drive in shame.
