Can you make a Dream Come True?

Some of you are smart enough that by now you have caught on that cancer patients are near and dear to my heart. I have found a foundation that helps make last wishes of adult cancer patients come true. It is a credible foundation. They have several corporate sponsors such as several of the drug companies that make the drugs that fight cancer, etc. I know of one lady in south Louisiana last year they sent on a skiing trip with her young children. It was an incredible video to watch.

So here is my spill to you....I would like for everybody on this board including those who just stop by and view without posting to help make one wish come true. I have found a resident of Louisiana, a 43 year old woman, who would like to take her grand daughter to Disney World. If we all do a little something, together we can make this happen! This lady will make the greatest memory with her grand daughter and we will be a part of it! I am going to post the link so that you can all go to the website and read the story. You can donate money or Skymiles. I had a little trouble earlier getting to the link to use my credit card so I called it in. They are fixing the problem now.

Come on everybody...let's do this!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you to whomever has already contributed to Nanette's Wish. I can see that somebody or somebodies have already gone to the website and made a contribution(s). THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!

Please anybody reading this website if you can do anything, help us make this happen!

I would think the last wish of most every adult cancer patient would be "I wish I wasn't dying of cancer." Does this organization help with that?

I know they do their best to help them with that but there is nothing they can do to help you from being a cold hearted ass hole :nono: :nono:

I might be going blind (a distinct possibility) but I don't see any web address. Am I missing something? Please post the address so we can all check it out.

And keep up the good work TexasBelle. I'm sure there are many who appreciate your efforts.

I'm sorry.

And to Joe...you are an ass in the truest sense of the word. There is absolutely nothing funny about your post. I know that you like to find humor but there are situations where there is no place for humor and people dying from terminal diseases is one of those places. The sad fact of our lives on this earth is that every one of us will face death and we will all most likely walk the walk of a terminal illness with a loved one. I hope that you will remember your cowardly, heartless comment when the reality of life slaps you in the face. Only then will you truly understand how mean and thoughtless your words were.

Yes these patients would love a cure first but they have all obviously accepted their fate. Those of us who are blessed with health, wealth, and great lives can pass along to the people on this list a little blessing and help provide their families with a cherished memory. Tell me Joe, do you have the courage and guts to do that as much as you have the guts to make such a cowardly comment?

This is the link to the lady from Louisiana and her dream:

I agree with Belle, Pokie, and Isaac, Joe is an ass. He truly can take the suffering of a person and use it to be such an uncaring jerk. Ok, rhertz, it's time to take up for him.

I will have huge concerns regarding Rhertz and his sense of humanity if he even attempts to defend Joe and his post on this thread.

joepole 07-21-2007 11:17 PM

So that's a no? They don't actually do anything to help with their last wishes?

Wrong, they do everything they can to help with the last wish of a terminal ill person. Unlike you, that never got the help you so desperately need to be a caring person. You have to have a heart, that you don't have, all you have is a pumping wad of muscle. You also have a few key pieces missing in that spot between your ears.

Joe, in your first reply it was very clear to all of us that you were not being sincere with your post. You are still not getting it. Unless you have a change of heart, why don't you just stay off this thread?

Here is Joe's view of himself when looking in the mirror!

Your welcome Pie. Now let's see who is going to step up to the plate and help a person in need! You never know when it could be one of us in the same situation as one of the people on the list wanting on a dream.
