Mutiny at hurricane center
 

MIAMI -- Bill Proenza was removed at least temporarily and possibly permanently Monday as the director of the National Hurricane Center. Ed Rappaport, the center's deputy director, has been named as the acting director, with the meanest stretch of the hurricane season fast approaching.

So the people in south FL and south LA think the government can guarantee the weather now ? The blame game goes on and heads are rolling. BS on this crap. They see a bad storm coming on radar then get ready and if it is even close hall ass. The idea that it might be a close call is a bad idea.
