Irritated but calm, the homeowner called 911 and told the dispatcher that he had finally done something about the neighbor boy — the one, the man said into the phone, who had been harassing him for years.

This is one sick man. May his grass die and never come back.

To value a plot of grass over a human life, and one so young at that. :nono: This guy needs to go to jail and stay there.

Have you ever met a 15 year old? Most are worth less than nice grass.

We have a man like that in our neighborhood (I don't believe he's killed anyone yet) but he screams at the kids if they accidentally get a bicycle tire on his yard. That is truly sad that his golden years are being spent policing his yard and being angry over something so trivial.:(

ol' Joe, always the cynic :) yeah, those 15 year olds can be uh.. somethin' else.

Yeah, we had this old guy in the neighborhood when I was growin' up, come out and start hollerin' at us for leaving FOOTPRINTS in his grass.

So yea, we made his life miserable ;)

I have a fifteen year old and she a very nice young lady  I think much more of her than I do some tired old grass. Joe I know you pick but your day will come and you too will have a 15 year old and you will be 15 years older

When I was little the lady 4 or 5 houses down was putting weed killer in her garden when my dog ran diagonally (she lived on the corner) across her yard. She sprayed him with the poison.

That night I cut down every plant in her yard.

Do not mess with Joe's dog it could cost you big time. I can not say that I have not exacted some revenge in my early years :D I found round up to be the silent killer ;) Joe you sound like you where a real pistol from the get go.

We have a neighbor like that, too. My kids call him the Nazi neighbor. He's a retired fireman with just too much time on his hands. He hates our dogs even though they never go in his yard. In the fall he waits for the leaves to fall on the carpet like grass just so he can pick them up.

Really crazy how possessive people can become over their little plot of land. One thing that really disturbs me about this article is how calm the man was when he called. It's just sick.:nono:
