.Countrywide, homicides are up 3.2 percent
.Assaults are up 8.6 percent
.Amazingly, armed robberies have climbed nearly 45 percent
.In the Australian state of Victoria, gun homicides have climbed 300 percent
.In the 25 years BEFORE the gun bans, crime in Australia had been dropping steadily

The violent crime stats are EVEN WORSE in Great Britain!

Basically, you dont know WTF you're talking about, so maybe YOU should STF UP! You dont like or want guns, fine, dont get one, but dont you DARE tell the rest of us we cant have them. Matter of fact, you can just get your sniveling socialist A$$ on the next flight back to Australia since you're in such a goddamn hurry to be a victim, you anti-American, freedom-hating maggot! You sure as hell dont belong HERE. Your stench hangs over this forum like a giant fartcloud and I'm liable to NEVER get it out of my nose!

If, and I say IF I've "over-reacted" on this issue its only because this most important right, this right that makes America the shinin beacon of personal freedom that it is, this right that keeps our own government firmly where it belongs in it's lawful place of servitude to the people, this right from which all of our other rights derive, has been under attack for so long...since long before I or any of you were even born. It will ALWAYS be under attack, and our foundin fathers knew this. They understood that freedom ultimately comes from the barrel of a gun, and that regardless of the passage of time, this truth will NEVER change. So if we're going to err, or "over-react", let it always be on the side of caution. The day firearms possession becomes a "trivial issue" is the day we take that first step down the road to enslavement. May THAT day never come.

Well I hate to bust your bubble, buddy, but lot's of Americans can go through both duck AND deer season without touching a single shell:laugh:

Seriously though, I used the word trivial because
a.)the 2nd Amendment is not in any type of present or pending danger
b.)No major political party is going to support amending the 2nd Amendment.

Let's just be happy that we both agree the 2nd Amendment is a good thing....

How does that old saying go? "You can pry my gun from my cold dead fingers", or something like that. Life is not worth living without the right to drive a car or the right to bear arms.. Yeah I know. Cars are evil and kill 60k people per year (more than guns) and cause global warming, etc. And guns are evil and kill a few k each year... such is the price of freedom IMHO.. Did anyone ever say freedom is free? if so, who? Or is freedom nowadays taken for granted and no longer worth fighting for, or perhaps even dying for? (Hopefully not) Would you die to protect your family? Everyone would say yes to that. Well how about your family's freedom? Ever think about that? The only thing that separates us from other countries is our constitutional right to bear arms, despite the best effort of irresponsible or evil @ssholes out there. Banning guns won't eliminate evil. Sorry for the rant.

Dont apologize, you're absolutely 100% correct.

Hate to burst your bubble there buddy I killed six deer this year and I love to shoot my gun ;) It only took six shells to get the job done. If some freak went on a shooting spree and I had my 270 in my had they could kiss their ass goodbye  I do not think they will take our guns but if it comes down to the left wing having enough votes they will try to do just that. Then it will be a black day in America and many would give them up and the few would never give them up

I hear Rosie O'Donnell and her big fat mouth is weighing in on this each morning on the View. She apparently is calling for "Gun Control". "This wouldn't have happened if we had stricter gun control laws."

Somebody needs to shut up that big fat blubbering biatch.

Teach the deer it's being hunted AND give it a rifle, then I'll be impressed.

I vote we send her fat A$$ to England or Australia since she obviously hates America...of course, that would result in our losin two of our staunchest allies, and we would'nt want that.

Well, she IS a big fat blubberin *****! And T-Belle was nice about it, too...she left out "gun-grabbin, freedom-hatin bowel movement" from her description. Rosie is fair game.

HA! The old Frank Stallone tune (I think), personalized for our friend BrainSmashR.
