Elder Abuse - Common Among Caregivers

"I just wanted someone who could help me bathe and do the things I couldn't," the 86-year-old Bossier resident said of the caregiver she employed. "She was pretty nice, most of them were nice, but she took advantage behind my back. She took everything she could get her hands on."

Now this is pathetic! It's a wonder old people suffer from depression so often.
They can't find good honest help to care for them in their homes and the alternative is a nursing home. How sad.:(

People who abuse, steal from, or harm the elderly in any way are just especially pathetic cowards! I just can not fathom what some people are capable of doing. Well, what goes around comes around! And they will get theirs. Even if its not until after their life on earth!!
