Smokers relegated to the outdoors

You know smokers are gonna break this new law left and right and continue to argue over the legitimacy of this new law.

You may be correct, but resturants and business owners will think twice I bet, due to the exposure to fines, litigation, etc.

Not that I could afford to go there, but I guess the "cigar room" at Superior Steak House is now "no smoking".

The wife and I went to the Superior Steakhouse a couple of years back. It was a wonderful experience, if a bit overpriced. After your meal, you could settle into a nice comfy leather club chair near the huge fireplace and enjoy a fine cigar, just as Rhertz said. I sure hope they dont cave.

Sounds nice, but I'm still not a smoker myself. My mother thinks the government is just getting closer and closer to telling us how to live. I feel it isn't really that serious though. They are just setting down rules for what you can and can't do in public. What you do in your home is still up to you. I dare to say that if people were more courteous sometimes, such rules wouldn't be necessary even if I am guilty of my fair share of selfish moments. Anyway, I think a ban on public smoking is not unlike a ban on public nudity or public urination. It is an issue of hygene and courtesy.

The cigar room at Superior's is, indeed, non-smoking now.

Do they still call it the 'cigar room' ? :jawdrop:

:peace:

Don't know, I haven't been in that room since the ban. Probably.
