Border Collies are over rated! They don't even guard their owner when strange dogs are around.

What most people dont know about pitbulls is that they are VERY affectionate. They need lots of attention and they want to be as close to you as possible. Mine is not allowed in the bed, but sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and he's snuck up on the foot of the bed:laugh:. Of course, as soon as I realize this, he's down like it never happened! I laugh at him alot, but I think he'll be the last large dog I have for a while...:D

Some dogs have bad raps. I knew someone with a Chow Chow and they are often seen as mean dogs, but they do attach themselves to their owner and are very loyal, at least to the owner. :D

Jealous of a dog that only focuses on a bouncing ball???NOT. Of course that ball and dog do know how to beat an owner up, don't they Isaac????:laugh:

Why yes they do but they will not attack young children :rolleyes: Now bring your Yorkie around Kanga and you might see some protection. Those little dogs shake all the time is that normal for the breed ?

I am so sorry to hear that.. there are no words. Dogs just don't live long enough. :(

Thank you LN ! Me and Mrs. Isaac where talking late last night while at the Vet about how much you love your Taz. It was very unexpected :( Good news I will have a litter of Border Collies born this next spring from my female.
Will be the 6th generation going all the way back to 1979. I think we will keep a female. You are right they do not live long enough. :peace:

I'm sorry for your loss. However at least he passed away happy! 39 litters sounds like quite the life. ;) Well done Rusty!

We will be having a new litter of Border Collie puppies in the early spring. It is time for us to bring on a new pup. It will be our 6th generation starting back in 1979. I will have some pups for sale if anyone is interested in having the #1 breed when it comes to IQ ! We need a female name for our pup ? Any suggestions ?

My brother has a Border Collie names Roxie.. which has won a few Frisbee catching contest. :)
