Whats the world coming to?

This is PRECISELY why I never leave the house without atleast one firearm on my person. You just never know when you'll be pulled up to a red light or stop sign, and somebody will pull up next to you and shoot at you just for the hell of it. It could happen to your spouse as he/she goes about running errands or to and from work. Thats the kind of world we live in. And yes, the lowlifes are always going have the drop on you, but atleast if you dont die immediately you'll have the means to return the favor. And the last thing the dirtbags of the world expect is that YOU will have the means AND the will to fight back! Its these senseless, random acts of violence that compel any right-thinking citizen to arm him/herself. In years past, a handgun was an essential part of every gentleman's wardrobe. So armed, he could defend himself or anyone else in the vicinity from vicious criminals. In fact, to go about unarmed is simply negligent, since in many cases others depend on your ability to protect them. Depending on the police to be there when you need them is sheer folly. Usually, the police would have you NOT defend yourself, and they suggest cooperating with the brigands, leaving you completely at the mercy of someone who obviously has no respect for your life to begin with. Nowdays, more and more courts are recognizing that we DO have a right to defend ourselves. So, I urge everyone (including you ladies out there) to obtain a concealed weapons permit at the earliest opportunity, take a firearms safety course offered by your local sheriff's department, then purchase a small, light, easily concealed handgun and carry it with you at all times. When it comes to your gun, its always better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it! Eventually, you will become accustomed to wearing it, and as in the case of your wristwatch, you will feel naked without it!
