I heard there was a women's pro footbal l team in Shreveport - is that for real?

Heady I haven't heard of any girl football teams, but I have heard of "arena football" under the name of "Battled Wings" for what it's worth.

There is, indeed, a womens' team here. I remember reading about the tryouts a year or so ago. I can't remember their mascot, but it's some kind of play- on words where they changed a real word to something else by feminizing it.
