Apple Debuts iPhone
Apple Computer on Tuesday made the company's long-awaited jump into the mobile phone business

I have to admit, I've been waiting for this awhile. I've been through quite a few cell phones in my day, and what has always bugged me about them is the User interface. And from what I've read, Apple nailed it.
Only problem is, it freakin' uses CINGULAR !! :( There had been rumors that it might be an 'unlocked' phone, that would work with several mobile providers.. it's not Apple Computer anymore, they changed their name to Apple Inc. |

so I gave up on Cingular quite awhile back.. now since then, I've heard that Cingular was supposed to be improving things in our area.. putting up some new towers.. and routing calls locally as opposed to somewhere else ?
I've talked to a few people who are with Cingular recently, and I've asked "so does it still suck?" and they say no, and that they haven't had "any" problems.. which I personally find hard to believe.. but I wonder if it's gotten any better ? |
Add me to the list
Ive been with Cingular now for several years and Ive never had any problems I could complain about...except for that weird occassion when in the middle of a conversation some strange person suddenly spoke up and made their presence known. I was extremely pissed off about the intrusion..such things are not supposed to happen on a cell phone.
