Caddo Fire Chief pleads not guilty to federal charges that he tried to hire someone to kill a witness in a grand jury investigation

Politics always bring a great potential abuse of power. He has now joined the ranks of William Jefferson, John Murtha, the New Orleans city council person (speeding 100mph), X-Gov. Edwards, and soon to come Nancy Pelosis (for aiding the terrorist cause).....:nono:

This is a middle aged adult man and not a school aged child. He may be in decline but it is his adult decisions that got him to where he is today.

McMullen Wants To Change His Plea

Don was appointed interim chief by the Caddo Parish Fire district 3 fire board while they went through the civil service process of hiring a new chief after the residing chief left to accept the position of Oklahoma State Fire Marshall.
As the application process dragged on Don was reappointed. As I recall the fire board even changed the job discription and requirements in an effort to draw more applicants for the position.
In the end, the fire board offered the position full time to Chief McMullen.
The civil service board signed off on it and the rest is history.
