What was that smell near Krispy Creme today?
 

Did anyone smell that smell near Sam's Club and Krispy Kreme on youree today? it stunk up that whole area. It smelled as bad as Lucas but not as bad as the protein rendering plant. :rolleyes: But almost. It was like someone spread out a few tons of manure or something at that new construction site near Lowes.

Uh..oh yeah..the smell...uh, sorry about that, folks..I had Taco Bell for breakfast!:eek:

I hope it's gone....gotta make a run to Best Buy sometime today.

The smell is still there today, but not quite as bad as yesterday. With all the new construction in the area, maybe they ruptured a sewer pipe or something. I'm not sure if just digging up clay could smell that bad all by itself.

It may have been a grease trap being cleaned out
 

Those fast food places have to have their grease traps cleaned out by a pump truck like a septic tank and the after effect is not good. I would think after a day it would clear up if that was the problem. That is fast food row there on Youree Drive.

Why I remember, back in my day :eek: if you wanted anything to eat down there, you had to travel across a few cotton fields on foot, cross over to Bert Kouns and you could find a Taco Bell. and That was IT :)

That end of town is growing like crazy !
