'tis the season

Walked outside this morning. I thought it was foggy out. But instead it was the YELLOW HAZE. Pollen falling off the trees like it was raining. Soon everything will be coated in YELLOW. Ughh.

I remember when I lived there it took me years to figure out that yellow stuff on the cars. I had no idea it was pollen HA! remember I'm from S. Louisiana we don't catch on so quick I never saw so much pollen in my entire life till i moved to Shreveport

I'm one of the lucky few who have an ungodly immune system and no allergies. Pollen is little more than a visual nuisance to me that makes a small mess on my car.

I never had issues in Shreveport w/ allergies but move to S. La you will want to move back north.

Just give it time :) I didn't start to feel any effects from allergies until I was about 27. I don't think I have much of an allergy, but when all this pollen falls. .. for me it's like walking into a VERY DUSTY room.. It's going to affect me some and my eyes.

I have allergies and this is my conclusion.

About 80% of allergies are caused by mold. The other 20% is "hay fever" caused by pollen. Pollen is seasonal, but molds are all over the place year around. Pollen doesn't bother me nearly as bad as mold. Now dust mites, I haven't come to a conclusion yet. :D

Dust mites make my sinuses a little stuffy if I go too long without changing my bedding or cleaning up the dust in my room. That can get annoying because of all the computer equipment in my room and we all know computers attract dust by the pounds.

By the way, why do ceiling fans gather so much dust despite their speed and constant movement?
