Michigan Woman Claims Starburst Candies Are Dangerously Chewy in Lawsuit

Quote:

Starburst Fruit Chews are exactly as their name would indicate: chewy. But one Michigan woman says the candies are so chewy, they should come with a warning label.
Victoria McArthur, of Romero, Mich., is suing Starbursts' parent company, Mars Inc., for more than $25,000 for "permanent personal injuries" she claims she sustained after biting into one of their yellow candy in 2005
Come on now. How silly can some people get. She probably didn't need to eat candy anyway.

This woman bit into the candy in 2005 and is just now complaining? If she was so crippled by the incident why take so long to file a lawsuit? I could see losing a filling but knocking your jaw out of alignment? I doubt it!:jawdrop: OUCH!

These judges need to crack down on these rediculous cases where the plaintiff is obviously just looking for a quick score of some else's money.
