David Vitter Admits To Escort Services

Sen. David Vitter, R-La., apologized Monday night for "a very serious sin in my past" after his telephone number appeared among those associated with an escort service operated by the so-called "D.C. Madam."

OH you poooooooooooooooor bleeding heart liberals you are like sharks at feeding time. Look around for your cigar president and there will be a fire wall of liberal tripe defending his actions. This is the most liberal forum in the area and anytime the Times has half a chance it will jump on any conservitive. Oh bleeding hearts this is still a red state so go west or go east to find your buddies. Just because Sheveport is full of block voters that does not mean the entire state is. Next to go is Mrs. Mary, Mary

Wow, something that kinda/sorta makes me like David Vitter.

I do like how Vitter owned up to his mistake and didn't try to say "I did not have sex with that woman!" as we've heard from so many prominent leaders in the past. He has apologized and he and his wife seemed to have worked through it...everyone should move on now.

That is his private business. I don't care.

Were any other names listed in the escort service "black book" released? Or just this one conservative? Ted Kennedy perhaps? I thought the list was long. Certainly is contains names from both parties. Conservatives aren't the only ones who like to get their freak on.

I doubt Ted or "Ed" could even get it up  That Kennedy family were some fools big time. JFK almost sheet himself over the Cuban deal. I am sure DNC names on that list will not make national headlines.

I just find it disgusting that our public officials keep sinking to new lows like this. Yes it's a private matter between him and as wife (to some degree) but as a public official I believe he should set a positive example for others. I realize people make mistakes, Lord knows I have made more than my fair share, but I am not an elected official nor will I ever be. I just don't like it that's all I am saying. I do also agree with Isaac in that it's easy to see that the Liberals have their finger all in this.

Who would want to be a politician anyway but the power brokers of the world. The devil is in the details but a man just a man and not perfect as the One is. Good post Sista Tbelle

So what if Vitter's name appeared on some client list? Far as I'm concerned he gets a pass. Vitter is one of the few politicians who understands that he serves his constiuents, and he does a damn fine job of it.

Molon Labe! Good post Sir Al  He has done a good job considering he is from LA ;) better than anything else south of I-10

At least he was not seen out and about with a woman who is not his wife. There is a politician from my area that is seen in bars with women doing things that should be done in private. I don't condone Vitter's behavior, but it is not any of my business what he does in his private life. Personally, I really DO NOT want to hear about it.

Yep, I consider it a goodthing that I heard no cigar stories or dress stain stories, followed by lies and deceit....
