I just bought Family Tree Maker
 

I just bought Family Tree Maker at Best Buy and it is pretty cool. I was able to accomplish a surprising amount of research in a very short time. It connects to ancestry.com which has something like 5 billion records. Anyway, I was wondering if there was anyone into this sort of thing around here.

I have Family Tree Maker and have used it for about five years. It is the best that I have seen and once you get the info they can find for you then you can fill in the gaps. Let me know via priviate message if you have any questions and knowing where we come from will help you with where you are going :D

Thanks Isaac, I will message you. This is version 16 of the program and sometimes it feels like it, if you know what I mean. But I'm learning!
