Poll Shows Sigificant Lead For Jones In Shreveport Mayoral Race
 

It's anybodys guess who will be the Jerry Jones contender in the election - looks like Liz Swaine or Cedric Glover

so can anyone explain to me why it is the other guys that polled in the low single digits are still running for mayor? I'm just trying to figure out why some of these folks are still spending money on something they're obviously going to lose.

I'll even go so far as to say anyone in the top 5 of the poll should probably stay in the running, but the rest should probably sit down now. Why in the world don't they just stop now?

For the same reason Ralph Nadar runs for president and doesn't fold, I guess.... LOL, maybe they are paid by the opposition to fracture the vote?
