Bill Dies That Would Have Outlawed Guns In College Dormitories

State Rep. Rick Gallot of Ruston wanted to make it state law that dorms would be included in the firearms-free zone of colleges. College and university policies already ban guns in dormitories, although there is no criminal penalty.

Some States are playing with the idea of removing the "gun-free zone" status of schools. Of course Louisiana has to move the opposite direction of many other States. Banning guns on campus didn't stop Cho from playing the reality version of "DOOM 3D", it just meant he was safe from being shot by other students.

Get a clue, Louisiana.

Yeah man, cuz nobody ever got shot in the wild west, and when they did, they totally deserved it....
[/sarcasm]

I'm not against gun ownership or in favor of more gun control laws at all, but this notion that MORE guns equals less murder is simply ludicrous.
