Rice: U.S. Concerned About Rising China

It would seem that the Old Dragon is showing that intends to be a world power now and in the future. Russia backs China and every other empire of evil and there is a day coming with world population growing that WWIII will
come to the brink. When, I do not know but if ? Oh yea there will be a show down over Taiwan and the Russians would like Alaska {BACK} and the Arabs
would like guess what ? Jerusalem and all Jews dead. Now any one of these
is bad and if all three went down at one time well we can see this one world system is going to be in trouble. It is written that there would a time called
"the day of Jacobs trouble" and my the fruit is getting ripe.
God does and will Bless America that too is written !

Is there anything for sale in Best Buy or Circuit City that is made in the US and not made in China? Even the Apple iPod is made in China. Home Depot isn't much better in that regard. It is rather rare that I see a "made in US" sticker anymore.

Surely the billions we are pouring into China's economy is helping it grow. I'm not sure this is a bad thing. If the world was divided into the haves (US) and the have-nots (everyone else) then our immigration and trade problems might even be worse. I believe in free markets only because it provides a way to fix problems without government intervention or expense. Greed makes free markets operate efficiently which benefits consumers and raises the overall standard of living. But for who? and when?

I will say that after living in Louisiana for 40+ years, when will it be our turn for rapid economic growth and expansion? Few realize that our state collects over $200k annually in total revenues for every man, woman, and child living in Louisiana. Of course this doesn't all come from state residents but from oil and gas revenues. Where does all that money go for us to register last in almost every category imaginable? Even after paying off crooked politicians, there should still be plenty left over for roads, schools, and everything we need to be the greatest state in the union.

It is the war machine

Seems every country is powering up to try to stay off envaders the only thing
is that who would want to live in China or Russia or N. Korea ? People keep breeding and this ball we are riding is getting crowded. Bell curve ? Only time will tell there rhertz. Try to buy American when you can, yea I know they make almost everything we buy.

well on a more happy note.. I read some article awhile back.. the point being that although this ball is getting more and more crowded.. they think once we get to a certain point.. something is gonna kill off a bunch of us.. be it disease or a major war. So we got that going for us.

UGHHH .. another reason why I don't watch the freakin' news.
