Local Economy Has Grown To Support New Hotels

There are at least 8,400 hotel rooms in the Shreveport-Bossier City area. But that number could come close to 10,000 in the next couple of years as hotels continue to sprout from vacant land.

I am often wondering who is staying in all these hotels and why? I could see coming over here for a day trip of gambling and shopping but I"m really surprised we can have that many people staying here year round to be lucrative for the business.
