66th Anniversary of Attack On Pearl Harbor
A 'Day of Infamy' remembered on this day. December 7th.
There are fewer and fewer survivors of the Japanese attack. A few survivors living in the Ark-La-Tex area share their stories. http://www.shreveport.com/forums/ima...993fade5a5.jpg |
My birthday is Pearl Harbor Day so I was always facinated with this event. I like the movies Tora Tora Tora and also the Ben Aflack movie.. But my favorite thing is to say.......... (especially when my parents are around)
"It is a date that will live in infamy"... LOL, I'm sure my parents will agree... |
Let this be a lesson to those countries that are foolish enough to think Americans do not have the stomach for a bloody war. We have our bleeding hearts but if they think they can take US down they will be in for a large surprise.
Oh happy birthday rhertz what did you get ?? |

Happy birthday and best wishes RHertz.
Pearl Harbor, like "911", seems to lose some of it's horror with time. But take a moment to look at the list of names of human beings that lost their lives in this attack. Notice many civilians and children were victims too.
