I rode in a helicopter once in 1983. It was an exhilarating experience. But don't worry about it dropping out of the sky. Even if the engine cuts out, the pilot can "autogyrate" and cushion the "landing". LOL, then it just compresses your spine a little bit instead of killing you! But you'll probably live. Now if they pilot dies of sudden stroke or heart attack, you might be in a world of trouble!
