When you commit to a person romantically, then you have agreed to place the satisfaction of your romantic desires (and sexual desires) solely into your partner's hands. How you spend your free time and where you choose to dine has some such implications as well, but to a much smaller extent.
It is a matter of simple propriety. Women don't care what you read or where you eat or when you go to the movies. However, they DO care who you get your sexual kicks from, especially if it's not them.
