Yes, I cant recall the mens names... Rusty... something I think. They gave it up and said they were hired by George D'atois who, after hiding a while in his own attic, was arrested. I believe he died before going to trial.
He was so intimidating that many really believed his death did not really happen and he was (and maybe still is) in hiding.
