I worked in a Bellsouth DSL call center about 3 years ago just after the last big hurricanes in Florida. You wouldn't believe how many people call in asking where their DSL service is and their HOMES weren't even rebuilt yet!
Residential telephone services hadn't been restored, but these people were ticked and rude about their DSL service.
