World's Oldest Paper Ditches Newsprint

"Worlds Oldest Paper Ditches Newsprint"

World's Oldest Paper Ditches Newsprint
In yet another sign that the ink-stained wretch should be placed on the endangered species list, the world's oldest newspaper has gone wholly digital. No longer will Sweden's Post-och Inrikes Tidningar, which was founded in 1645, be printed on paper. Instead, its legal announcements will be published online only. "We think it's a cultural disaster," said Hans Holm, who worked as the paper's top editor for 20 years, in an interview with the Associated Press. "It is sad when you have worked with it for so long and it has been around for so long."
Been in print since 1645 ! Surely a sign of the times eh ?
