Louisiana Boardwalk managers hope a new restaurant will open by the end of December in a space formerly occupied by another Asian-themed eatery.

The sushi restaurant, Sushiko will take over the 2,994-square-foot space formerly occupied by Gimme Sum Fresh Asian Grill, said Doug Badia, an employee of O&S Holdings, Louisiana Boardwalk's parent company.
