Cartoon Network has announced their new anime making its premiere tonight. The new anime is the infamous Blood+, another of your dark vampire animes to replace Trinity Blood.

Blood+ is an anime series which occurs decades after the events in the anime movie Blood: The Last Vampire. The series follows the young girl Saya Otonashi, the last of a vampire race who protects the world from the chiroptera, a race of bat-like demons who feed of human blood.

Saya lives a fairly ordinary life as a human girl with her adopted family, until the return of the chiroptera. She then picks up her sword and the hunt begins.
