I would have to agree. Many years ago, my uncle was shot in a rural town of about 200 in central Louisiana. Nothing ever happened in that little town until someone broke into his home that day. That day, 0.5% of the population of the town was murdered. That is like 1500 people being murdered in Shreveport-Bossier area (statistically speaking). I don't think rural areas always improve the overall statistics of a large region. My .02....
