Governor Blanco will not seek re-election
Governor Kathleen Blanco has made it official, stating she will not run for re-election.
"I am choosing to do what I believe to be what is best for the state," the governor said in a statewide television broadcast this evening. "I will focus the next nine months on the people's work, not on politics." |

If she was really interested in doing what's best for this state, she would have stepped down after displaying her complete and udder incompetence as a leader, in the wake of Katrina.

If Only I'd Been A Republican
The face of defeat ! She was a puppet from the start.
http://www.shreveporttimes.com/apps/...GNEWS/70321013 Time for her to go home as a lame duck and take care of her grandchildren. I hope the GOP can get someone that can win and get things done in LA unlike Foster who never came up to North LA. Isaac |
