I catch his program every Sunday when I start my work week, and he makes it a bit more tolerable. But yes, I abhor the likes of Hannity, Drudge, and Limbaugh. These big-mouthed bastards are nothin more than shills for the GOP. Whenever I hear their voices, the first thought that enters my mind is "these guys talk too damn much and I wish they'd just shut the hell up".
I couldn't agree more. But what REALLY bothers me, is the reason why these 'talking heads' keep on talking, is because there are people who are actually listening.

Why the talking heads

I have a retail business and every time there is something going on in the media sales slow down. The media (talking heads) will make news when there is none. Cindy Sheehan was one of those off days. There are a large group of people that live and die by the TV and let the talking heads whip them up into a emotional state that leaves them scared and being scared they keep watching there show or listening which ever the case. Kind of like preachers do each Sunday.

yeah I'm a Handel fan too. My favorite calls are the people who call him up, ask him for his advice, and then argue with his answer! Then his advice becomes even more and more marginal as the call goes on.
