This is Barron's Marina. In the 80's I once saved a person's life (at least according to the Times) after some teens put their car in the lake right there in that bend in Lakeshore. Everyone at Barron's came running out... I still can't believe no one died that day, but I'm very glad the ending was happy and hope the boys learned their lesson.

I made sales calls on the small convenience store at Barrons Landing back in the late 70's. My aunt kept her boat moored here.

Nowadays you can almost walk across the lake there because the plants are so thick.
