Cop Pushes Skateboarder

http://www.wltx.com/news/story.aspx?storyid=47991

Geez! That's a little over the top, Officer!

Quote:
A Charleston police officer was taped pushing a skateboader off his board at the Waterpark in downtown.

The officer defended herself by saying that that skateboarding is illegal in Charleston.

As a result, the skateboarder injured his lower back and ankle.

Can we say LAWSUIT? Not only would I go after the officer personally, criminally AND civilly, I'd go after the department AND the city. Somebody's gonna get themselves a nice little settlement, I predict.

Actually, I hear the guy isn't pressing charges, but I wouldn't be suprised if he changes his mind.

I suspect he WILL change his mind once he finds out how much money he could get out of it. A back injury in this case could be worth a mint.
