What are you made of?

I found this on the Internet and confirmed it from a few science sites. Though this is a rough estimation based on averages, it really makes you think.

Quote:
Water: 35 litres
Carbon: 20 kilograms
Ammonia: 4 litres
Lime: 1.5 kilograms
Phosphorus: 800 grams
Salt: 250 grams
Salt petre: 100 grams
Sulphur: 80 grams
Fluorine: 7.5 grams
Iron: 5 grams
Silicon: 3 grams
And trace amounts of fifteen other elements.
Have you figured out what this is a recipe for? You might be surprised to know that this is the chemical breakdown of your average adult human being. Even more surprising is that this list of elements can be purchased separately on less than $75 and depending on how you arrange them, they can form materials that cost much more.

How do you like that? People aren't all that expensive to produce.

Where's calcium in the list? I thought our bones and teeth had a lot of calcium (more than 3 grams like silicon which is listed)

Texasbelle is made of :

Sugar and Spice and everything nice! I believe Mr. Belle would say that there is an extra pinch of Cayenne in there as well.

Some of these items are combinations of several elements on the periodic table. I assume Calcium is in one of those.

"Salt" ???

That's not very specific.

Ammonia? I don't think my body has four liters of ammonia in it.

There are traces of ammonia (nitrogen and hydrogen) in the bloodstream, in the liver, the instestines, and in urine as well.

Right you are Anime. Then we take a piss and it flows into the river where bacteria (nitrosomonas) convert the ammonia to nitrite, and then other bacteria (nitrobacter) convert the nitrite to nitrate. Then plants absorb the nitrate as fertilizer. Thus the circle of life.
