Cool How To: Dismantle an Atomic Bomb

Sure, the odds are slim that you'd ever be faced with an atomic device ticking down to zero. But think of how Jack Bauer it'd be if you were. And then who're you going to trust?

o.k. yea. I admit it... I don't know who "Jack Bauer" is ?
Now if I had to guess, I would say the guy from "24" ? Personally I've never seen it, but I hear good things.

Disarming an atomic bomb

Couldn't you just smash it with something heavy? A nuclear explosion is VERY hard to create and the slightest problem with the configuration will result in a dud or just a conventional explosion.

In the movie "Peacemaker", Nicole Kidman and George Clooney disarmed a nuke with a knife. The blade broke and then they hammered it with a shoe or something. I don't really remember.

LOL, Agreed!

My favorite Nicole Kidman movie to make fun of is "Days of Thunder"....
"Stop the Caw Cole. Let me out of the Caw!"
