North Shreveport To Get A New Shopping Center

Northwood Shopping Center will bring 10 to 12 restaurants, shops and business offices to North Market Street just south of Old Mooringsport Road. It is scheduled to open in mid- to late January.

I think this is where Tbelle goes to workout and keep those abdominals looking so good. Hey Belle do you have a favorite place to eat up there that serves low carb food ? There is plenty of room for growth north of town and it is good to see investment being made there.

I don't eat anything up there! Currently there is only a DQ and a McDonald's where this shopping center is going quite near my high school alma mater!!!!

well hot diggity spit

believe you me, that McD and DQ get old fast.. There's always rumors floating around about something new coming out that way, but never happens.

Currently on North Market, just South of Old Mooringsport is the McD, next to that they built a freakin' CAR WASH, and a Floor tile place not what I was hoping for, next to that, a lott for Fireworks sales twice a year.. and about a block down the road from there, they've been working on a new Citizens bank I think it is..

rumor has it north of Mooringsport road on North Market, there was going to be a Sonic Burger joint going up..

Anyways... I guess I'll wait and see.. would be nice to have some nicer restaurants out that way. Sure would like a freakin' HARDWARE STORE, and a real GROCERY store..
