Two Young Girls Leave School Without Being Noticed

What I can't believe is that a 4-and 5-year-old walked out of the school and nobody saw them leave. They're supposed to keep their eyes on them at all times," said Anna Herrera, of San Elizario.

I wonder what was going on at school.

Four and five year olds are too young to be allowed to walk up and down the halls of the school without an adult present. The article implies they were using the buddy system. Those ages are way to young to be left unsupervised not to mention they don't have a good sense of direction and could easily get lost just going to the restroom! Glad they were located!

I'm almost certain we were allowed to walk down the halls at South Highlands when we were five.

I was there from 81-87, so it was Ms. Taberlet. That was back when the office was on the 2nd floor and K5 was under the library, so that would have been a hike.
