John Georges Talks with Tom Pace about Acquiring Harrison Co. in Bossier City 7-2-08Posted by: Tom Pace - July 02, 2008
History was made inside Bossier's City Council Chambers Wednesday, July 2nd, 2008, as John Georges, the CEO of Georges Enterprises, announced that his company was acquiring Harrison Company of Bossier City. One of Bossier's oldest and largest companies, Harrison Company was originally founded in 1922, by O. Delton Harrison. It is currently an employee-owned company.
The majority shareholder, Hal Martin has been named the President of Harrison Company, working directly for Georges.
Following today's formal announcement, Georges spoke "One-on-One" with Tom Pace from "The Talk of the Town."
With the acquistion by Georges Enterprises, the CEO said that he plans to expand employment at Harrison by another 100 jobs, bringing the total to about 250...and he projects revenues of Harrison and his Imperial Trading, to top $1 Billion by the end of 2010.
