Shreveport legendary guitarist/singer/composer Buddy Flett almost died from a  case of viral encephalitis earlier this year.     Tom Pace with "The Talk of the Town" interviewed Buddy "One-on-One" in an exclusive interview Wednesday, April 23rd, 2008.  A-Train saxophonist John Howe was sitting in during the taping at Buddy's house. Buddy says, "I'm the luckiest man alive."

Buddy recounts his brush with death, and comments on his road to recovery.  He's also very humbled at the "Benefit Concert for Buddy Flett" headlined by his good friends Kenny Wayne Shepherd and blues great Hubert Sumlin, this Sunday April 27th, 7pm at the Strand Theatre. 

Tickets are $25; $35.  $100 VIP tickets available for a special Meet & Greet with Kenny Wayne, Hubert Sumlin, Buddy all the other performers in the benefit concert prior to the show. 

To make reservations, call The Strand box office 318-226-8555 to order ahead, or purchase at the door the day of the benefit concert. All proceeds go to Buddy Fleet to cover cost of his therapy & living expenses.
