Don Briggs, Pres La Oil & Gas Assoc, with Tom Pace: Haynesville Shale & Drilling for More Oil & GasPosted by: Tom Pace - June 04, 2008
Don Briggs, President of the Louisiana Oil and Gas Association says "Americans are oilaholics, and, gasoholics" and truly we are "...addicted to oil."
Briggs spoke "One-on-One" with Tom Pace, Executive Editor of "The Talk of the Town" , Tuesday, June 3rd, 2008, following Briggs presentation to the "Winning Tuesday" meeting at Superior Steakhouse in Shreveport, Louisiana. He says "...energy independence won't work," and the solution is, "...to continue to drill for more oil & gas in the United States."
In what Pat Booras described as the largest audience in the history of "Winning Tuesday" events over the past 15 years, about 100 people crowded into the meeting room to also learn more about the potential of the "Haynesville Shale" recent gas discovery in Northwest Louisiana and northeast Texas.
