"...'twas the night before Christmas..." A Soldier's Poem Narrated by Talk of the Town Host Tom PacePosted by: Tom Pace - December 19, 2012
I discovered this poem thru an email sent to me back in 2004. While hosting "Countdown to the Independence Bowl" on a local radio station that year, I decided that this was the ULTIMATE TRIBUTE to FREEDOM...so I recorded it & played it on the air. Tom Pace
This poem was reportedly written by a young Marine stationed in Okinawa, Japan...who put his thoughts to paper about a lonely soldier, fighting for our freedom, on Christmas Eve. That Marine has requested that it (the poem) be sent to as many people as possible.
I think that is a reasonable request, and I ask that you forward this podcast, as well.
