Sen. David Vitter Talks with Tom Pace About Energy Crisis - Forum at Centenary 8-27-08

Posted by: Tom Pace - August 27, 2008

Louisiana Senator David Vitter told Tom Pace from "The Talk of the Town" that "There's no single answer on the issue of energy,"  however, Vitter siad, on the short list is increased drilling and production in the United States, including offshore to reduce our dependence on foreign oil.

Sen. Vitter was Centenary College in Shreveport, Wednesday, August 27, as part of his statewide tour conducting an "Energy Forum" for the public. The Senator spoke "One-on-One" with Pace, covering a variety of topics from politics (the presidential race) to Cyber Command HQ at Barksdale (will we get it?).

Vitter also answered the question, "Are the New Orleans levees ready for a Category 3 hurricane, such as Gustav if it continues to grow and maybe heads to the Louisiana coast?"
