National Science Foundation Awards $500K Phase II Grant to Nifty TV for More R&D 5-5-08Posted by: Tom Pace - May 05, 2008A $500,000 check to Network Foundation Technologies (NFT) from the prestigious National Science Foundation was unveiled Monday, May 5th, 2008, in ceremonies at the BioSpace1 Headquarters in Shreveport, Louisiana. Only 5-7 percent of proposals from private companies nationwide ever reach the phase II level of the SBIR program, which allows for the development of a prototype. NFT is one of only four companies in Louisiana that received a SBIR Phase II grant since 1999, and the first to receive a SBIR Phase II grant since 2005.
